Must have
- Hands-on experience with the role’s core software, cloud or infrastructure stack
- Strong troubleshooting, automation and change-control discipline
- Ability to support secure, reliable systems under operational pressure
Preferred
- Experience in motorsport, automotive or real-time engineering systems
- Relevant cloud, security or platform certification
About the role
· Configuring and maintaining all PC hardware as per Multimatic Inc’s hardware specifications. · Assist in maintaining the physical network as required. This includes servers, printers, plotters, and switches, etc. · Assist in maintaining all Windows server platforms as required. · Provide technical support for all desktop operating systems. · Install and maintain PC application programs as per Multimatic Inc’s software specifications. · Support all telephone systems. · Assist in keeping an accurate hardware inventory of all computer equipment. · Help ensure all label printers and scanner guns are functioning and provide maintenance when needed. · Configuring and maintaining PC hardware as per INC’s hardware specifications. · Support a near zero downtime environment. · Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable. · Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager and/or Department Manager. · Abide by all company safety rules, responsibilities, policies, and procedures including the legislative requirements of the OHSA. · Work in compliance and conform to Environment and ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards. · Adopt and practice Kaizen principles; participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities. · Responsible for on-boarding and Off-boarding users · Ability to communicate with 3rd party vendors and managers 4. Basic Requirements: · Currently enrolled in a college diploma or university degree in computer systems and engineering technology, information systems support, or a related field. · Excellent working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and WAN/LAN technologies. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization, customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors, etc. · Must be a self-starter with an ability to work independently.
