Product information
The six-wheeled Tyrrell P34 remains one of the most innovative and recognisable Formula One cars ever built. Designed by Derek Gardner for the 1976 season, the revolutionary machine featured four small front wheels instead of the conventional two. The concept aimed to reduce aerodynamic drag while increasing front-end grip and braking performance, giving Tyrrell a unique advantage over its rivals. The P34 quickly proved it was more than just a curiosity. Driven by Jody Scheckter and Patrick Depailler, it achieved its greatest success at the 1976 Swedish Grand Prix, where Tyrrell secured a famous one-two finish – the only victory ever achieved by a six-wheeled Formula One car. Although development challenges eventually limited its competitiveness, the P34's bold engineering and distinctive appearance have ensured its place as one of the most iconic and celebrated cars in Formula One histo
