Application Development Engineer (PU)
Red Bull Powertrains is looking for an Application Development Engineer develop embedded engine control software for the RBPT F1 Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) working as part of the ICE Controls group within the broader RBPT PU Controls group.
Must have
- Relevant engineering knowledge and practical problem-solving experience
- Ability to analyse technical information and deliver robust solutions
- Clear communication and disciplined delivery in a fast-paced team
Preferred
- Relevant engineering degree, apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Motorsport or high-performance automotive experience
About the role
Red Bull Powertrains is looking for an Application Development Engineer develop embedded engine control software for the RBPT F1 Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) working as part of the ICE Controls group within the broader RBPT PU Controls group. The software must exploit hardware performance potential, ensure operational and mechanical robustness and adhere to FIA regulations. Requirements come from trackside, calibration and simulation groups as well as from within the ICE Controls team.
