Evans GP is seeking a contract #1 Mechanic for its upcoming Formula 4 and Formula Regional programmes. The role combines international race and test event work across Asia and the Middle East with workshop-based preparation and maintenance, including work at the team's Sepang base in Malaysia.
Responsibilities include complete car preparation, build and maintenance; setup changes; component inspection and lifing; safety and quality checks; efficient between-session turnaround; fault finding; and clear communication with the race engineer, driver and wider technical team.
Previous experience working as a #1 or lead mechanic at Formula 4 or Formula Regional level is essential. Applicants should demonstrate strong car ownership, consistently high preparation standards, safe workshop practice, reliability under event pressure and the ability to travel internationally and work flexible motorsport hours.
