Evans GP is seeking a contract Data Engineer for its upcoming Formula 4 and Formula Regional programmes. The role combines international race and test event work across Asia and the Middle East with preparation and systems work at the team's Sepang base in Malaysia.
Responsibilities include logging-system and sensor checks; data quality control; session preparation; download and analysis of vehicle and driver data; clear reports and visualisations; identifying performance trends and technical issues; and providing concise support to race engineers and drivers during tests and events.
Previous Formula 4 or Formula Regional experience is not required. Applicants should have a relevant engineering, data or motorsport background, strong analytical ability, confidence with data-analysis software and the accuracy required in a time-critical trackside environment. Experience in another motorsport category, university competition, simulation, electronics or performance engineering will be considered. Candidates must be able to travel internationally and work flexible motorsport hours.
