Formula 1 and Allwyn have awarded €100,000 to the Del Valle ISD Education Foundation for a workforce-development programme serving students who live near Circuit of The Americas.
Formula 1 announced the award on 22 October, naming the foundation as the fifth recipient of the F1 Allwyn Global Community Award in 2026. The funding will support a new initiative called Fast Track, which the foundation says is intended to reach 12,000 students in the Del Valle community.
The published plan includes teaching grants, student scholarships and STEM opportunities focused on racing and technology. It also covers workshops, field trips, internships and support intended to reduce financial and logistical barriers between school and careers in Austin's engineering and technology sectors.
Formula 1 says 85% of students in the Del Valle community live in underserved communities. That percentage and the expected reach are figures supplied in the official announcement; no independent evaluation or delivery results are yet available because the funded programme is at launch stage.
The award creates a direct connection between a Grand Prix host community and the skills used to deliver motorsport. Formula 1 said its relationship with the foundation will continue through access to engineering, logistics and innovation around COTA. The release does not specify which employers will provide internships, how many places will be available, the programme timetable or the value assigned to each type of support.
For the foundation, the grant provides a defined funding source for a workforce pipeline rather than a one-day race-week activation. For Formula 1 and Allwyn, it turns a commercial partnership asset into a measurable local investment. The award amount is confirmed, while longer-term outcomes such as course completion, internship uptake and employment remain to be demonstrated.
The foundation is located in the school district surrounding COTA, but the award does not make the circuit the recipient or programme operator. MRI has therefore not attached the article to the circuit's business profile. It also found no exact directory profile for Formula One World Championship Limited, Allwyn or the Del Valle ISD Education Foundation and has not used an unrelated record.
No reusable first-party feature-image permission was established, so the report is published without an image. All programme descriptions and expected benefits are attributed to Formula 1 and the foundation rather than presented as completed outcomes.
