Haas Factory Team has signed John Hunter Nemechek for one of its three full-time NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series entries in 2027, with Pye-Barker Fire & Safety as primary sponsor throughout the season.

Nemechek will drive the No. 41 Chevrolet and work with crew chief Jason Trinchere. Haas announced the programme on 4 November but did not identify the drivers or numbers for its other two full-time entries in the same release.

The agreement joins a driver appointment and a season-long commercial commitment. Pye-Barker first supported Nemechek in 2016 under the Fire Alarm Services name and resumed the relationship under its current brand in 2021. Neither the team nor company disclosed the sponsorship value, contract duration beyond 2027, activation inventory or performance clauses.

Nemechek brings 11 victories in the series now carrying O’Reilly Auto Parts title sponsorship and 13 NASCAR truck wins, according to the team. He has also competed full-time in the Cup Series since 2024. Those results provide sporting context but do not guarantee outcomes for the new programme.

Haas Factory Team is aligned with Chevrolet and has a technical relationship with Hendrick Motorsports that includes Hendrick-built engines. Those arrangements predate this announcement; the new information is Nemechek’s No. 41 programme, Trinchere’s crew-chief role and Pye-Barker’s full-season primary sponsorship.
