Harley-Davidson has detailed a technical upgrade package for the second FIM Bagger World Cup season alongside an expanded calendar and new commercial arrangements with Dynojet and Dunlop.

The company said at EICMA on 4 November that the 2027 motorcycle is being developed with approximately two to three per cent more horsepower and a rev limit raised from 7,000 to 7,200rpm. Other changes include a Dynojet quickshifter sensor, revised fork caps, upgraded rear shocks with independently adjustable damping, a revised swingarm, active tyre-pressure monitoring and reliability work. New aerodynamic bodywork and greater ergonomic adjustment remain in development.

Harley-Davidson says every technical upgrade will be available to every competitor in the spec championship. The performance figures and development claims are company statements and have not been independently audited by MRI.

The provisional season expands to eight rounds and 16 races in seven countries, adding Le Mans, Barcelona and Portimão. Five teams and 11 motorcycles are confirmed on the initial list, while rider announcements and possible additional organisations remain outstanding.

Dynojet becomes presenting sponsor and contributes the new championship name, FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup Tuned by Dynojet. Dunlop has renewed as official tyre supplier, including technical and trackside support. Contract values and durations were not disclosed.

MRI’s October coverage reported Harley-Davidson’s broader decision to prioritise the global Bagger World Cup. This update is not a duplicate: it adds the specific 2027 engineering changes, calendar, entry count and named supplier-sponsor agreements announced a month later.

The article is linked to Harley-Davidson’s exact MRI profile. That shared profile has no approved official logo. Although the media site carries images for journalistic use, access conditions were not independently satisfied for this publication, so MRI published without a feature image.
