Kalitta Motorsports and Mac Tools have signed a two-year extension covering the primary sponsorship of Doug Kalitta’s Top Fuel dragster.
The renewal was announced during the 2026 NHRA U.S. Nationals and extends a partnership now marking its 25th anniversary. The team and tool brand describe the agreement as one of the longest-running sponsorships in motorsport.
Primary rights continue
Mac Tools will remain the primary partner on Kalitta’s Top Fuel entry. The official announcement does not set out changes to the car’s branding, activation programme or hospitality rights, so the agreement should be treated as a continuation of the existing platform rather than a new sponsorship tier.
The relationship gives Mac Tools recurring visibility in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series and a programme connected to franchisees, customers and employees. For Kalitta Motorsports, the extension preserves a long-standing source of commercial support around one of its headline entries.
At the time of the announcement, Kalitta had won four events during the 2026 season and secured the Mission Foods Challenge season championship. Those results provide current sporting context, but they do not establish the commercial value of the renewal.
Commercial terms remain private
Neither party disclosed the financial value of the agreement or a detailed activation budget. Kalitta Motorsports also did not announce a technical supply component, so Mac Tools should be described as the primary commercial partner rather than an engineering supplier on the evidence available.
The two-year term takes the relationship beyond its quarter-century milestone while giving both organisations continuity through the next phase of the NHRA programme.
