LEGACY MOTOR CLUB has announced additional strategic owners, taking the NASCAR Cup Series team’s ownership group to 28 people across sport, entertainment and business.

The team’s 4 November announcement identifies new participants including 1985 Indianapolis 500 winner Danny Sullivan, musician and Mumford & Sons co-founder Ben Lovett, restaurateur Michael Wystrach, investor Nat Zilkha, film producer Tim Headington and business executive Johnathan Crocker. It also names Jim Brown, Ellie Franchitti, Nick Hanauer, John T. McCoy, Bart Proctor, Andy Reiner, Tommaso Sandretto, Richie Schmock, Alex Song and Jamie Tisch among the expanded group.

They join a previously announced group that includes Sam Byrne, Scott Dixon, Guy Fieri, Dario Franchitti, Bryce Harper, Tony Kanaan, Andy Roddick, Jen Rubio, Darius Rucker, Kelly Slater, Chase Utley and the team’s established ownership leadership.

LEGACY presented the investors as a strategic network intended to contribute experience, relationships and ideas beyond capital. The official release does not disclose individual stake sizes, the total amount invested, the company valuation, voting rights, board seats or operational responsibilities. MRI has therefore not characterised any participant as a controlling owner or assigned governance powers that were not published.

The expansion is material because it changes the ownership base and potential commercial reach of an active Cup Series organisation. It does not itself announce a driver, manufacturer, technical or facility change.

MRI compared the source and canonical URLs, headline, team, named owners and announcement date against existing coverage. The item is distinct from MRI’s September report that LEGACY signed Josh Berry for 2027.
