Zoox has signed a multi-year agreement with Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc. to become the event and official autonomous ride-hail partner of the Formula 1 race.
The partnership announced on 5 November combines conventional sponsorship rights with a planned transport service. Zoox is due to run race-week activations in Las Vegas and, beginning in 2027, plans to offer rides to and from Grand Prix Plaza using a dedicated pickup and drop-off zone.
Zoox already operates a public autonomous ride-hail service in parts of Las Vegas, including selected hotels, resorts, entertainment venues and Harry Reid International Airport. The companies have not published the precise Grand Prix service area, operating hours, fleet size, passenger capacity, pricing, reservation rules or regulatory conditions that will apply in 2027.
The arrangement gives Las Vegas GP a mobility partner whose product can be used by visitors rather than only displayed as a brand activation. It also expands Zoox’s motorsport marketing beyond its existing relationship with Williams. The official announcement does not state that rides will serve the street circuit itself or replace the event’s broader transport network.
Contract value and the exact term were not disclosed. The release also does not identify infrastructure investment, exclusivity limits outside autonomous ride hail, data-sharing terms or service-level commitments. MRI has therefore reported the planned 2027 service as a company commitment rather than a fully specified transport contract.
MRI compared the official URL, headline, Zoox, Las Vegas Grand Prix, Grand Prix Plaza, the 2027 service plan and announcement date against existing MRI news. The item is distinct from October coverage of EquipmentShare’s event-infrastructure agreement.
MRI has no exact Zoox or Las Vegas Grand Prix business profile, so no unrelated directory record or logo was attached. No first-party feature image was used because reusable publication permission was not established.
