The British Racing & Sports Car Club has agreed broadcast coverage with Sky Sports F1 for the 2026 Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch.
BRSCC announced the arrangement on 13 October 2026. Sky Sports F1 will carry the semi-finals and final on Sunday 25 October, while BRSCC will stream the full 24–25 October race programme on its YouTube channel.
Agreement extends the Festival beyond club streaming
The club describes the Sky Sports arrangement as a first for the Formula Ford Festival. It gives the event a television window alongside the digital coverage BRSCC already controls.
The announcement does not state whether Sky has acquired exclusive rights, paid a rights fee or committed to future editions. It also does not disclose production responsibilities, audience guarantees, broadcast duration outside the named sessions or distribution beyond the Sky Sports F1 channel.
The verified scope is therefore the 2026 event rather than a multi-year media-rights partnership.
BRSCC is using the coverage to sell partner inventory
Alongside the broadcast announcement, BRSCC invited businesses to explore commercial opportunities around the Festival. The club positioned the combined television, YouTube and venue audience as inventory for brands seeking links with single-seater racing and driver development.
That creates a defined commercial use for the media agreement, but no sponsors, package prices or sales targets were named. MRI has not treated the invitation as evidence that partner contracts have already been signed.
The Festival is scheduled during Brands Hatch's centenary year and will include supporting championships. The broadcast deal applies to this event and should not be read as a wider Sky agreement covering BRSCC's full calendar.
MRI has no exact BRSCC profile, so no unrelated club or circuit record has been attached. No feature image has been used because reusable first-party permission was not established.
