GRIDLIFE and World Racing League will revive the 25 Hours of Thunderhill at Thunderhill Raceway Park from 2 to 4 April 2027.
The endurance race, last held in 2023, will be led by World Racing League and will begin on Saturday afternoon before finishing 25 hours later on Sunday. WRL's GT and GP classes are listed for the race, although entry limits, sporting regulations, eligibility rules and fees have not yet been published.
The weekend will also open GRIDLIFE's 2027 season. Its supporting programme is due to include GRIDLIFE Touring Cup, GLGT, TrackBattle Time Attack and drifting, alongside camping and community activities. The organisers say tickets, registration, rules and detailed event information will follow.
Combining a long-form endurance race with GRIDLIFE's existing competition formats creates a multi-discipline event platform for teams, suppliers, partners and spectators. The announcement does not disclose the commercial arrangement among GRIDLIFE, WRL and Thunderhill, any title sponsor, broadcast plan, prize structure or projected attendance.
MRI has treated the revival as a substantive event-development announcement rather than routine calendar promotion because it returns a 25-hour race after a four-year absence and places it inside a broader season-opening programme.
