Triple Eight Race Engineering will return to the Bathurst 12 Hour in 2027 in partnership with Ford Racing, fielding a Mustang GT3 for Broc Feeney and Will Brown.

The Australian team announced the programme on 4 November, describing it as a return to the event after a three-year absence. Feeney and Brown are already part of Triple Eight’s Supercars operation, but the Bathurst entry gives them a different car and endurance-racing programme with Ford’s GT3 platform.

Triple Eight has extensive history at Mount Panorama and has previously run GT3 machinery in the 12 Hour. The 2027 project brings the team back into the event under its new Ford alignment and creates an additional collaboration with the manufacturer beyond the domestic Supercars championship.

The initial release names Feeney and Brown but does not identify a third driver, entry class, race number, test schedule, customer or factory status, commercial partners or the precise operational division between Triple Eight and Ford Racing. MRI has not inferred those details and will treat later line-up or sponsor announcements separately if they add material information.

The announcement is an operational competition commitment rather than a routine race preview: it establishes the team, manufacturer, car platform and two drivers months before the event. No claims have been made about performance or the programme’s budget.

MRI checked the official and canonical URLs, headline, team, Ford Racing, Mustang GT3, drivers and announcement date against existing MRI news and found no duplicate or near-duplicate article.

The article is linked to Triple Eight’s exact MRI profile. That profile has no approved official logo, so none was invented. MRI did not reuse a first-party feature image because explicit permission was not established.
