Commerce controls
Marketplace trust,
from listing to refund.
The operating rules applied before a product can be sold and throughout payment, fulfilment, refund and dispute handling.
Seller eligibility
A seller must control an approved business profile with an active Featured listing. Its storefront and each product require separate moderation. Stripe seller verification must confirm the account can receive transfers and payouts before Checkout becomes available.
Product and stock accuracy
Sellers are responsible for accurate product identity, specification, compatibility, price, stock, dispatch and returns information. The transaction system rechecks publication, seller eligibility, currency and stock at Checkout. Inventory is reserved for a limited Checkout window and the database rejects reservations above available stock.
Payment activation
Payment details are collected on Stripe-hosted Checkout. A browser return does not activate an order. The order becomes paid only after a signed Stripe webhook confirms the PaymentIntent, total, currency, seller destination and commission against the server-held order snapshot.
Platform commission
The Motor Racing Industry commission is 2% of the product subtotal, calculated in whole currency units at Checkout. Shipping is shown separately. The commission recorded in Stripe must exactly match the order ledger before fulfilment is released.
Shipping and fulfilment
Each seller states its delivery countries, shipping charge, dispatch timing and returns policy. Buyers receive private payment and fulfilment status. Sellers can record shipment carrier, tracking and fulfilment notes only for paid orders.
Refunds
A buyer can submit a private refund request with a reason. A seller-issued full refund is created through Stripe with the seller transfer reversed and the application fee returned. The buyer-facing record changes only when Stripe confirms the refund event.
Disputes
Payment disputes are recorded from Stripe events and placed in the administrator exception queue. A separate refund cannot be issued while a dispute is open. Store or product access may be suspended while safety, accuracy, delivery or payment concerns are investigated.
Private information
Buyer identity, delivery address, order history, seller payment-account references, refund reasons and dispute records are restricted to the buyer, relevant seller and authorised administrators. Full card details are not stored by this site.
Release status
Public Marketplace purchasing and seller payouts remain disabled until controlled Stripe test transactions, webhooks, inventory, refunds and dispute handling reconcile successfully. Tax configuration, commercial terms and final authenticated acceptance must also be approved before live activation.
