13 Autosport has confirmed it will return to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship's GTD class in 2027 with the No. 13 Corvette Z06 GT3.R.

IMSA published the programme on 13 October 2026. Orey Fidani and Matt Bell will share the car for the full season, while Lars Kern will join them for the Michelin Endurance Cup rounds.

Team retains its car and driver structure

The announcement gives the renamed operation continuity for its second season as 13 Autosport. The team previously competed under a different identity before relaunching for 2026.

IMSA said Fidani had secured a third consecutive Bob Akin Bronze Cup Award and an invitation to return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The 2027 announcement confirms the IMSA line-up and an endurance driver, but it does not name a fourth driver for Daytona or guarantee a Le Mans entry line-up.

The team will continue with Corvette's customer GT3 platform. No change of manufacturer, race number or full-season driver pairing was announced.

Mississauga facility forms part of the team's expansion

The official report also records that 13 Autosport is building a new shop in Mississauga, in the Toronto area. The team describes the facility as an improvement to its working environment as it takes on more of the programme's overhead and develops the operation.

IMSA did not publish the shop's size, investment value, completion date, equipment list or staffing plan. MRI has therefore treated the facility as a disclosed development within the team programme, not as a completed capital project.

The verified update is the 2027 GTD return, retained driver group and continuing Corvette programme. MRI has no exact 13 Autosport profile, so no unrelated team or manufacturer profile has been attached. No feature image has been used because reusable first-party permission was not established.
