Las Vegas Grand Prix has appointed EquipmentShare as an Official Supplier to deliver connected equipment and fleet-management technology across the event’s temporary infrastructure programme.
The promoter announced the agreement on 15 October. EquipmentShare will use its T3 platform from the first load-in at the permanent 39-acre Grand Prix Plaza site through race execution and post-event teardown.
The published scope covers equipment workflows, telematics, automated diagnostics and access controls intended to limit machinery operation to authorised personnel. EquipmentShare will work directly with the event-production team as machinery moves across the wider street-circuit footprint.
This is a substantive delivery contract rather than a naming-rights announcement. Las Vegas Grand Prix described the race build as a complex temporary-infrastructure project and said the connected fleet should improve visibility over equipment condition, authorised use and schedule risk. Those performance benefits are promoter and supplier claims; the release provides no baseline downtime, fleet size, service-level commitment or contract value.
The work also illustrates how permanent and temporary assets are combined for a street race. Grand Prix Plaza provides a fixed operating base, but the event still requires a large seasonal build across the Las Vegas Strip. A digital fleet layer can connect machinery, labour and maintenance information across those phases, subject to successful integration with the organiser’s production processes.
For EquipmentShare, the event is a reference deployment for its rental fleet and T3 software in a high-security, time-critical environment. For the promoter, the partnership places equipment availability, diagnostics and operator control inside one supplier relationship.
