Next Level Racing has launched the F-GT Shift, a sim-racing cockpit designed to change among Formula, GT and hybrid seating positions without tools.

The company says its patent-pending Quick Fold Mechanism can move the cockpit from Formula to GT configuration in under five seconds. That timing is a manufacturer claim; MRI has not independently tested the mechanism or compared its changeover time with other convertible rigs.

The structure uses reinforced tubular steel, cast-metal hinges and rigid connections. Its adjustment points cover the pedal plate, rear leg, seat backrest, wheel-plate tube height and front wheel plate. Next Level Racing says the frame is intended to support direct-drive wheelbases, performance pedals and dedicated shifters, but the announcement does not publish a torque limit or a full compatibility table.

The package includes the company's reclining SIMAERO Mesh seat, a heavy-duty ambidextrous shifter arm, concealed transport wheels and compatibility with its HF8 and HF8 Pro haptic pads.

Next Level Racing made the product available globally on 22 October. It lists a global recommended retail price of US$499, with regional pricing of US$549 in the United States, C$699.99 in Canada, €499 in Europe, £449 in the UK, A$799 in Australia and ¥85,000 in Japan.

MRI has treated the release as a substantive product announcement because the convertible mechanism is a new cockpit design rather than a routine sale or accessory promotion. The article is linked to Next Level Racing's exact source-reviewed MRI profile. That profile has no approved official logo, and no reusable first-party feature-image permission was established, so the article is published without an image.
