RFK Racing and Brad Keselowski have agreed the terms of his operational departure, moving the driver into a passive-investor position while he continues to seek a NASCAR Cup Series seat elsewhere.
The agreement, disclosed on 31 October, releases Keselowski from his governance, competition-oversight and board responsibilities at RFK. NASCAR's official report said the arrangement was mutual and allows him to drive for another organisation. It does not itself announce a new team or race programme for 2027.
Keselowski joined the former Roush Fenway operation as a driver and minority owner ahead of the 2022 season. His arrival coincided with its rebranding as RFK Racing and gave him an executive role alongside his driving duties. The latest arrangement therefore changes both his day-to-day authority and the commercial structure around his exit, rather than merely confirming that he will stop driving the No. 6 Ford.
RFK and Keselowski had already announced on 29 September that they would part ways at the end of 2026. At that stage, the team said the process concerning his ownership interest was still being worked through. The 31 October update resolves his immediate governance and competition roles but does not complete the ownership transaction: NASCAR reported that Keselowski intends to sell his 20 per cent stake, with the sale still pending.
MRI has therefore treated the disclosure as a separate material update to its earlier coverage. The article does not describe the equity as sold, identify a buyer or value the holding because none of those matters was confirmed. It also does not infer a 2027 destination for Keselowski.
The article is linked to the exact RFK Racing MRI profile. That profile does not currently hold an approved official logo, so no logo has been invented or substituted. MRI found no explicit permission to reuse a first-party feature image and has published the article without one.
