Delete an MRI account

Email directory@motorracingindustry.com from the verified account email with the subject “MRI account deletion request”. State whether public profile content should also be removed. We will verify identity, confirm the scope and normally complete a valid request within 30 days.

Candidate and résumé data

Change current sharing choices through Motorsport Staff. For an urgent restriction, correction or removal from MRI talent search, email directory@motorracingindustry.com with the profile URL. Legacy candidate profiles are not published on MRI. We may ask the candidate to verify the connected account before acting.

Disconnect a social account

Sign in to MRI, open Connected accounts, choose the relevant personal or managed-business identity, then select Disconnect beside Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X or LinkedIn. MRI will remove the stored authorisation and stop future publishing to that destination.

Manual social-data request

If you cannot access your account, email directory@motorracingindustry.com from the email address associated with your MRI account. State which social network and MRI identity the request concerns. We may ask you to verify ownership before deleting the connection record.

Public records and corrections

A business or professional record can be corrected, restricted or removed where the information is inaccurate, unlawfully published or no longer justified. Send the record URL and supporting details through Contact & corrections. We may preserve a minimal suppression record so deleted data is not accidentally re-imported.

What is removed and what may remain

Deletion removes active account content and access that is within MRI's control. Disconnected social authorisations are removed immediately. External posts, seller orders or information held by another service must be handled with that provider. MRI may retain limited acceptance, security, billing, moderation or dispute records where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users and the service.

Timing and confirmation

Verified manual requests are normally completed within 30 days. Complex requests may take longer where the law allows; we will explain the reason. Completion is confirmed to the verified account email. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the relevant privacy regulator where you live.
