The Role This role is responsible for leading the 2nd Line IT Service Desk team, driving performance, supporting individual development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will oversee day-to-day service delivery, manage escalations, coordinate team workloads, and provide project support to ensure the successful delivery of ongoing IT initiatives. This role covers the implementation, management, maintenance, improvement and ownership for most of our systems including onsite servers, clients, and cloud resources. The key objectives for this role are:   To set and maintain high standards for incident and request management, ensuring routine reviews with the team and adherence to process.  Drive operational efficiency through process optimisation, automation, and the implementation of robust documentation and knowledge management practices. Collaborate with the wider IT Operations team to support infrastructure initiatives, project delivery, and effective escalation management. Monitor, maintain, and enhance the performance, availability, and security of Microsoft platforms and associated IT systems. Provide advanced technical support for complex incidents, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact the business. Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and contribute to ITIL-based Change and Release Management processes. Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry best practices, sharing knowledge and training colleagues to support continual improvement. The Person The role includes ownership of certain systems and platforms and therefore requires technical knowledge and experience of implementing and troubleshooting.  Additional required skills and attributes: Strong working knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services (ADUC/DNS/DHCP/CA/GPO), Windows Client management, PowerShell, Linux, Networking and Wireless Technologies.  Highly proficient in Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 & Office 365 Services and Administration, Microsoft Azure Knowledge, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Configuration Manager/SCCM).  Virtualisation using VMware vSphere.  Desire to deliver exceptional customer service Excellent communicator with an ability to work under pressure.  Strong team ethic and can-do attitude.  What We Offer You In Return Working for Alpine F1 Team, you will work with top professionals, directly impacting race car performance, and enjoy our state-of-the-art facilities.
