ME Motorsport is preparing to enter the ADAC GT Masters in 2027 with a BMW M4 GT3 EVO, adding a GT3 programme above its existing BMW M2 Cup and ADAC GT4 Germany activities.

ADAC reported the plan on 4 November. The Schwäbisch Gmünd team bought a factory-new M4 GT3 EVO during the summer and has already completed running at Hockenheim. It plans an extensive winter test programme before the new season.

The team describes the prospective entry as the next step in a Road to DTM development ladder. That structure is intended to give drivers a route from the BMW M2 Cup through GT4 and into GT3 competition within one organisation. The GT Masters move would also require ME Motorsport to support a more complex car, pit operation and engineering programme.

The announcement is a plan rather than a final championship entry list. ADAC said the driver pairing remains open, and the official item does not disclose nominated drivers, a race number, budget, sponsor package, BMW support level, engineering hires or whether the team will field one or more cars. MRI has therefore not described the programme as a confirmed grid place.

ME Motorsport’s early acquisition and testing of the car make the project more substantive than an expression of interest. Its winter preparation will provide the next evidence of whether the team can convert the plan into a full-season entry.

MRI compared the source and canonical URLs, headline, team, BMW model, championship and date against existing MRI news and found no duplicate or near-duplicate record.

The article is linked to ME Motorsport’s exact MRI profile. That shared profile does not contain an approved official logo, so none was invented. No first-party feature image was reused without confirmed permission.
